Project description
The pond is on the site of the original “Lavender Dock” – part of the former Surrey Commercial Docks used from 1696 to 1969.
The nature park was created in 1981 with the aim of providing a haven for wildlife, an amenity for local residents and an educational resource.
We aim to grade the bank and install a RootLok Vegetated Wall System.
