Environmental Policy

Our Commitment

We are committed to protecting the environment and reducing the environmental impacts of our activities across design, consultancy, installation, commissioning, maintenance and support services. We operate an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001:2015 to drive continual improvement in environmental performance, comply with applicable legal and other requirements, and support our customers’ sustainability goals.

Scope

This policy applies to all A.G.A. Group operations, including offices, project sites, and company vehicles, as well as to employees and contractors working on our behalf.

Objectives & Commitments

To fulfil our environmental commitments, we will:

  • Comply with Legislation & Other Requirements
Ensure full compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits and industry standards, maintaining a current legal register and demonstrating compliance through audits and corrective actions.
  • Promote Environmental Awareness & Engagement
Provide training, information and resources so employees and contractors can work responsibly; encourage ideas and innovation to improve environmental performance.
  • Prevent Pollution & Reduce Emissions (incl. Carbon)
Adopt proactive measures to prevent pollution and reduce air emissions. Monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fuel, energy and travel, and support customers with lowcarbon solutions.
  • Use Resources Efficiently (Energy, Water, Materials)
Minimise consumption of natural and nonrenewable resources through efficiency, good housekeeping, and technology choices in our facilities, projects and logistics.
  • Improve Waste Management & Circularity
Apply the waste hierarchy—eliminate, reduce, reuse, recycle—and ensure responsible handling, segregation and disposal. Seek opportunities to extend product life and promote resource recovery.
  • Protect Biodiversity & the Local Environment
Assess and manage ecological risks on projects. Where feasible, incorporate naturepositive practices and controls that avoid habitat damage, protect biodiversity and improve site stewardship.
  • Reduce Noise & Nuisance
Plan and manage operations to minimise noise, dust, traffic and other disturbance to neighbours and communities, especially on customer and construction sites.
  • Responsible Procurement & Supply Chain
Consider environmental impacts in purchasing and subcontractor selection. Work with suppliers and partners who demonstrate responsible, sustainable practices and compliance with our requirements.
  • Climate Resilience & Adaptation
Identify and manage climaterelated risks and opportunities relevant to our operations and the systems we install, to support longterm resilience and reliability.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Response
Maintain and test emergency and spill response procedures. Ensure rapid incident reporting, investigation and corrective action to prevent recurrence.
  • LifeCycle Thinking in Design & Delivery
Apply lifecycle thinking to reduce impacts associated with the systems and services we provide, considering materials, installation, operation, maintenance and endoflife.
  • Continual Improvement of the EMS
Review risks and opportunities, audit results, legal compliance, incidents, and stakeholder feedback to continually improve our EMS and environmental performance.
